Friday, January 15, 2020 — Today, Indiana Independent Venue Alliance has announced their SOCK ON drive to benefit Indiana’s homeless. This state-wide drive is collecting new, factory sealed socks at select donation sites, and will be accepting donations through Sunday, February 14th. IIVA has teamed up with Horizon House, located downtown Indianapolis, to ensure donated items are being distributed to those in our communities that need them most. Horizon House is a full service agency that connects individuals and families experiencing homelessness with integrated, full-service programs.

Participating Venues

  • HI-FI (Fountain Square, Indianapolis)

For all venue specific hours and details, please visit our official page, here.

After almost a year of fighting for Indiana’s venues in need during the pandemic, IIVA knows that no small act goes unnoticed. With COVID-19 threatening the livelihood of many beloved venues across the state, members know firsthand about the small acts of kindness that helped them stay afloat so far. Donations from fans and music lovers across the state have directly impacted the health of our venues over the past 10 months of the pandemic, and as an alliance, they want to give back to their communities.

If you are unable to make it to one of the participating venues, or would like to assist in the donations, please reach out to karah@indianavenuealliance.org.
