Indiana Independent Venue Alliance has announced a second round of ten recipients of Marquee Relief Fund Grants. These grants are designated to assist live music and entertainment venues experiencing catastrophic revenue loss amidst the ongoing pandemic, government-mandated closures and capacity restrictions. With this round of awards, the IIVA has delivered $50,000 in emergency relief funding to independent Indiana venues.

Award recipients include:

The Marquee Relief Fund is funded by individual donations and the sale of IIVA branded merchandise, in addition to business partners like Sweetwater Music and Mandolin. Just after the announcement of the first round of recipients, IIVA announced their Battle of the Fans peer-to-peer fundraiser, to get fans excited and more involved in donating to create additional grant programs. Live music and events thrive because of the fans, and the thought was to create a fan driven experience to save the venues that would normally be hosting these events without a pandemic.

The first round of MRF Grants were awarded in October, and included the following venues:

Because the Marquee Relief Fund is an ongoing opportunity for these members, please visit our donation page, purchase our merchandise, join the Battle of the Fans, or support one of our additional upcoming fundraisers. To contact someone directly about donations, or possible fundraising opportunities, please reach out to karah@indianavenuealliance.org for more information.

IIVA encourages any independent venue, promoter, or music business to become a member of the Indiana Independent Venue Alliance. Marquee Relief Fund grants are only available to members of the IIVA.
